![]() That said, your Crusader // Warblade will have glaring weaknesses. If it does, then keep your essentia in it to augment crusader healing. Shape Soulmeld: Therapeutic Mantle - check with DM to see if it works with maneuvers. There's a lot of ways to be tough as nails and not die. Any recommendations on other skills to max other than Spot/Listen/Diplomacy/Concentration/Jump? No idea if 6 Ranks in Intimidate and 5 ranks in Search poses any problem. ![]() How should I act do if the DM gives me VERY little to work with? Can I easily ham my way out of creepy territory?ĥ. Hahaha!"ĭo you think this fits within the "fascinated" requirement of the flaw? Supposedly I had to be fascinated for ~18 seconds, but hopefully the heavy lifting I did with the barrel of alcohol filled the rest of the time. "Nice kid, I bet he'll grow up to be a fine man. He then lifts it up and down with one hand repeatedly like it was nothing before placing it back down. Kameron grabs one of the barrels, careful to avoid spilling the alcohol out. If ya keep at it, you can become strong like me! Hoo ha!" "Thanks for helping carry these drinks to us, Boota. He places a hand on the kids head, and then ruffles the kid's hair. "As Kameron walks up to the barkeep and takes his drink, he notices the nephew. This was what I managed to come up, with some help from a friend: I just managed to scrape through an encounter with the barkeeps nephew without sounding like a creep or a pedophile, but I'm not sure if I can constantly keep it up. How do I go around the Cute Things Lover Flaw when the DM decided to have it also work on humanoids as well? Flaw's listed here: I know I'm thinking waaay long term, but it never hurts to prevent myself from messing up my character.Ĥ. What Stances should I grab for each side? The good news is technically I can have up to 8 stances, which is a very good thing. However, I'm not sure about the other abilities.ģ. What should be replaced? I know Diamond Mind Counters are very invaluable, the Mountain Hammer line is excellent for those really stubborn DR enemies and can hilariously let me smash down walls and doors with just my fist, and Emerald Razor's ability to use touch AC is very wonderful. What Maneuvers should I get/replace for each side? That also raises a question: Can I swap out both an old Crusader Maneuvers and an old Warblade Maneuver for newer ones every even level above 4, respectively? And if it helps, my planned role for the party in battle is part battlefield control with my Guisarme, part meatshield with Crusader healing and a back-up shield, but primary smashy smashy character.Ģ. What feats should fill up 12/15/18? I worry about Leap Attack and Shocktrooper because I don't want to give the DM too much cheese. ![]() I've planned on using the bonus feats of the Warblade part for the following (preferably in this order): Improved Initiative, Quick Draw, Blind-Fight, Combat Reflexes.ġ. Now I was able to grab a flaw feat for Combat Expertise, which means I can get Improved Trip at level 6. Add in Able Learner and you've got an actual smart warrior who can do stuff outside of battle. As for INT, my decision was I wanted to be able to be pretty useful outside of battle, and with 14 INT not only am I powering up the Warblade class features but I'm getting a wonderful 7 skill points per level. I know that DEX should have had a 14 instead of an 11, but I felt for fluff purposes he has to radiate awesomeness, which a Charisma of at least 14 should suffice. If you want to see, here's my character sheet for the campaign: Also a small problem with a flaw which pits me to be fascinated with cute things. The only problem is deciding on his feats, maneuvers, and stances. I therefore decided a Crusader/Warblade Gestalt combo, where he'd be tough as nails and can unleash hell to enemies around him. I got into a gestalt campaign, in which I decided that even if we don't get far, that'd I would go the whole nine yards and make a character that I feel can emulate the awesomeness of Kamina.
